Every girl have a dream to be the most beautiful princess in her big day, Truvelle made their dream can true and one and only. Custom made to fit you, each single piece have their story to tell…. and I want to share with you all the talent designer Gaby how she create all of this amazing gown/dress.
What's a story behind your brand?
Truvelle happened organically, stemming from my experience at my mum’s custom dress shop. I had just graduated high school and was spending my free time designing graduation gowns in shades of blush, ivory, and gold. I was surprised to find that brides – not graduates – were the ones resonating with these gowns; people were looking for something fresh and I had accidentally stumbled upon the answer. Fast forward three years later, when I decided to break free from the custom dress world to start Truvelle under the premise of modern wedding gowns.
Q: Which type of material do you like to use the most and why?
I love using chiffon. It’s soft, whimsical, and looks just as beautiful in photos as it does in real life.
Q: Which piece is your favorite or sells the best?
My favourite is a tie between Alexandra + Carolina, from my recently released 2016 collection.
Q: Where does your inspiration come from?
Truvelle is a reflection of my tastes, so inspiration changes all the time! I currently have a major travel bug and have been inspired tons by that, but in the past it’s been a lot of “these two elements look nice together”.
Q: What's the hardest part of your design career?
Right now, the hardest part is finding enough time to design! I run the company + travel a lot, so my time is spread pretty thin.
Q: What it your next project?
I’m already starting the 2017 collection and am working on a bridesmaid collection.
Q: If you were not a designer, what do you think you would be?
I’d definitely be running another business – likely in fashion.
Q: If young people want to follow the same path as you, what would you suggest?
Get started! There’s no better time to start something than when you’re young because you have nothing to take care of besides yourself and your business.
